Conditions of study and residence / Умови навчання і проживання
To enter Ukraine, the basis for obtaining an entry visa to study is the original invitation, which is issued by the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as a higher education institution in accordance with the procedure approved by the Ministry of Education and Science.
Entering to Ukraine for study is carried out in established by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and admission rules to enter the university in the following terms:
• to the preparatory department during the year;
• to enter the bachelor’s and master’s degree two times a year in the terms specified by the Admission Rules (until December 1, until March 1);
• to enter PhD by November, 1.
1 year bachelor degree, foreigners are enrolled in higher education institutions in accordance with the results of entrance examinations in language of study and Mathematics.
Programs of introductory studies at the final bachelor’s level
1 year master degree, foreigners are enrolled in higher education institutions in accordance with the results of entrance examinations in foreign language and specialty.

Educational program “Pedagogy and Education Administration” of the second (master’s) level of higher education, specialty 011 Educational, pedagogical sciences
Educational program “International Economics” of the second (master’s) level of higher education, specialty 051 Economics
Educational program “Business Administration” of the second (master’s) level of higher education, specialty 073 Management
Educational program “Computer Sciences” of the second (master’s) level of higher education, specialty 122 Computer Sciences
Educational program “Information systems and technologies” of the second (master’s) level of higher education, specialty 126 Information systems and technologies
To enter S. Kuznets KhNUE the applicant must have the following documents:
• origin and copy of the document on previous education;
• origin and copy of the document (attachment to the document on education),
• which contains information about the success in academic disciplines;
• a copy of the Birth Certificate;
• medical certificate of health, certified by the official health authority of the country, and issued no later than 2 months before coming to Ukraine;
• copy of passport or document identifying people without citizenship;
• insurance police to provide emergency medical care (except for foreigners who arrived from countries with which agreements on free emergency medical care have been signed);
• 6 photos size 30 x 40 mm or 3 × 4 cm;
• a copy of the foreign Ukrainian identity card (if available);
• the above documents must be translated into Ukrainian and certified by a notary.
A research proposal for the chosen scientific specialty or a list of published scientific works and inventions in Ukrainian or English certified in accordance with the established procedure at the candidate’s place of work / study shall be additionally submitted upon admission to postgraduate studies.
To enter the PhD program, the following documents are submitted in addition in Ukrainian or English:
• thematic plan of dissertation work to obtain the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy;
• copy of the diploma on awarding the corresponding scientific degree;
The above documents must be translated into Ukrainian and notarized.
Documents must be certified in the country of issue in a manner that is officially used in that country for such certification, and legalized by the relevant foreign diplomatic institution of Ukraine, unless otherwise provided by international treaties of Ukraine.
Educational documents of foreigners enrolled in training, issued by educational institutions of other countries, undergo the recognition procedure in Ukraine in accordance with the legislation.
Training period:
- • preparatory department – 1 year;
- • bachelor degree – 4 years (full-time education), 4 years and 6 months (part-time education);
- • master degree – 1.5 years (full-time and part-time education);
- • PhD degree – 4 years.
Tuition per year:
• preparatory department – the equivalent of $900 USD;
• bachelor and master degrees (full-time education) – depending on specialty, the equivalent is from $ 1200 to $ 2000 USD;
• bachelor and master degrees (part-time) – depending on specialty, the equivalent is from $ 900 to $ 1850 USD;
• PhD degree – $ 2800 USD (full-time education) and $ 2350 USD (part-time education).
